What should I check before applying for my student license?

You are a student or teacher and would like to apply for a free student license for Vectorworks? Good idea!

Before you start, check some important things:

• Check the system requirements for Mac or Windows for the desired Vectorworks version.
• If you want to run an older version of Vectorworks on a newer operating system, see the Compatibility table for Mac or Windows.
• Is your computer older than 3 years? Please contact us.
• If you are using Vectorworks at school, discuss with your teacher which version and language option you need. Once you have entered your language choice, it is impossible to request another language for the same version. If you requested the most recent version of Vectorworks, you will not be able to request older versions.
